A Typical Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician

Morning Routine

On the Road

1. My first stop is often an air conditioner repair call in Titusville, FL. A homeowner has reported that their unit isn’t cooling efficiently, and it’s my job to diagnose and fix the issue.
2. After completing the repair, I head over to Mims, FL, where a commercial client needs a heat pump replacement. This job requires careful planning and coordination with the building’s facilities team.
3. Next up is a routine HVAC service call in Port St. John, FL. I thoroughly inspect the system, clean the components, and ensure it’s operating at peak efficiency.

Lunch Break

Around midday, I take a well-deserved break for lunch. This is an opportunity to recharge my batteries and prepare for the afternoon’s tasks.

• After lunch, I head to Cocoa, FL, where a new construction project requires a complete HVAC installation. I work closely with the contractors to ensure the system is properly sized and installed according to code.
• My final stop for the day is in Cape Canaveral, FL, where a restaurant owner has reported issues with their commercial air conditioning system. I troubleshoot the problem and provide a solution to keep their customers and staff comfortable.

Wrapping Up

As the day winds down, I return to the office to complete any necessary paperwork and restock my van with supplies for tomorrow. It’s been a busy day, but I take pride in knowing that I’ve helped numerous customers maintain a comfortable living or working environment.
